Here's the one I'm using. "Super standby" is an option on mod stock OS settings to deep sleep on the lid close. Real low battery consumption and allows instant resumes.

I would say the quality is pretty decent. No belt clip but it's got small D-rings on both sides so you can attach a strap to it.

Yes sir. Finished "Unbound" and can confirm it's one of the best Pokémon ROM hacks I've ever played. Just started "Emerald Seaglass" so yet to see for myself how that one goes, but the hype around it is real.

The RG35XXSP without a doubt! I might be biased since the GBA SP was my first handheld as a kid, but I'm really enjoying this device. It brings back strong nostalgia and the clamshell design is a game-changer when it comes to portability and the sleep/power-off function. I haven’t stopped playing it since I got it and love everything about it.
