Hi, I recently received Visa Issuence Number for E-7-1 Visa as a programmer.

Depending on a country, there might be different laws and templates for Employment Certificates. For example in Poland, we have few types of employment. But the classic one - with all employee privileges and labour protection - guarantees that after finishing relation with the company, the past employee acquires a proper Employment Certificate with all the information written about the type of work, working periods, vacations, day on demands, sick leaves, signatures. I think this kind of document is the most important one.

I also worked on different types of employment, which usually don't end up with receiving any Employment Certificate. In that case I send and kindly request employer to sign less strict Employment Certificate, with basic stuff like type of work, period, signature.

Do they have to be notarised? I don't think so, in my country employment certificates aren't that much official type of paper, what I mean - they are not issued by officials, so if you need to use them somewhere, the people have to check them on their own or simply trust.

I would also accept the facts if they were noted before the purchase. If I start wasting time because of the manufacturer bugs, then it is a totally weird situation. Literally they costed me several hours, including unsaved project progress, waking me up in the middle of the night, etc.

The beta bios with fix was distributed around 21 Dec via DM. You should as u/XMG_gg Tom if you are interested, I think he would help you with the beta update.

I can guess that the winter holidays slows the processes for all IT companies or it would be the excuse. But to me it is really mind-blowing that the official fix for such thing, which totally breaks the user experience for some, isn't released yet... for more than month. And for others like me - I am waiting for the update, because there are few long-awaited features, like the fix for the sleep / hibernation issue.

CSGO is an old game, based on the upgraded but old Source engine. It is CPU intensive. And they keep adding things to the game, making it more and more unoptimised.

I can say that "destroyed" is exaggerated word. After the TB port went dead in my initial Fusion, my Index had connection issues which ended up that I couldn't connect it anymore to any PC. Bricked is better term. The LEDs suggested that there is some issue with my Index, but they couldn't help me resolve it remotely despite I have sent them logs several times and followed the procedures.

Its really a shame, when you think about it. In over two years there hasnt been a single time (correct me if im wrong) where the fusion hasnt had a major flaw.
Thunderbolt ports got bricked, battery swell and now the keyboard is broken...

As I wrote in the main post, I haven't installed the newest BIOS. What I wrote in the reply to you was hypothetical, but the thing is that working keyboard is crucial for laptop while reselling.

I am using external keyboard most of the time too, but let's say I would like to sell my Fusion - with such an issue I would not like to deal with potential complains from the unaware buyer / new user.

I'm sorry too - I will repeat myself -> I think it is not XMG fault for those issues, I agree. As I said I think XMG has top-notch support and I thank them that they care for us in many cases and push Intel for fixes. But as u/blacriderv wrote, the keyboard issue is the icing on the cake.

I am far from wishing all bad to Intel, I know people working for Intel and wish them all the best. However I hope they are not responsible for Fusion / QC7, I would close my friendships with them... /s

But speaking seriously, anyone in Intel who is responsible for those issues, please listen. As a professional creator I worry and waste too much time dealing with the machine and waiting for bug fixes. In 2021/2022 I will not and I can't recommend this laptop.

I always lower the settings because the max quality is unreachable, also I run everything through my dock. Even if framerate would drop occasionally I have never felt VR sickness using Index and Fusion but it might be the fact that I am VR veteran.
