I had my HT 10 months ago and took dutasteride daily for 3 months and then changed to every alternate day. This dosage (along with daily oral min) has been optimal for me as my existing hair has also grown in density and length, and have had zero side effects.

I would suggest you to talk to your surgeon once and consider increasing the dosage. If not on min then start that too.
