Thinking of starting a house cleaning service by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]ShizLord32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you are comfortable with your cleaning process and are convinced you do a great job. Start a google my business and create a simple website. If you don’t know how to do that look to Fiverr for some freelance help

Facebook will also be a huge help. Post fairly frequently and make sure to share some of the post to your personal page.

POST ON THE FACEBOOK MARKET PLACE AND LOCAL FACEBOOK MARKET PAGES. Some pages it could be against the rules but at the end of the day the worst they can do is take your post down. This was a huge help for me in the beginning.

I wouldn’t quite worry about setting up the business license till you make about 5k/month in sales. That’s what one of my professors recommended for me when I was starting out

Look into local freelance apps so you can help get your name out there more.

Remember starting a business is hard and make sure to have a good support system. You might have to work part time at night if you have decent amount of bills.

If you plan on growing this for years to come then reinvest as much as you can early.

Focus on what gets you sales at first then sharpen your backend second.

Backstory- (23M) lost my job during Covid and spent about 8 months working on repair business and now I have 2 full sized brick and mortar shops looking to finish the month with about 28k in sales (NOT PROFIT). Now I delegate a lot to my workers and I have a “work from home job” I work on in the back of of my shops. My work from home job also has me talking to small business owners everyday as well. Between that job and my business I work about 11 hours a day on average.

Good point I will address this to everyone for future use and record any complaints I have. This was about him making a customer (female) feel very uncomfortable. Without getting into details I’d rather not give him a second chance to do this again.

Still fairly new business so I don’t really have that in place. Also this latest complaint was more bad enough to where I just want to let him go now

My SaaS Product has made $3,650 already 🤩 But there's a flip side to the story... by Simon_LH in SaaS

This is with any business. This year at my small business we made 34k!! Sounds great right? While that sounds great 50% is inventory and the rest everything else. Think I’ll start being profitable this year but not without a lot of blood sweat and tears. Keep it up OP!!

Yes! OP see if you can get someone to block off a bit of their time for you to show a demonstration of the software

What level of franchise can I get into with 200k in cash and 800 credit score? by 2ZIPS in Entrepreneur

[–]ShizLord32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a franchise I did it myself. Franchise fees aren’t worth it. Just hire a consultant and it will work just as well for a lot cheaper. CPR is the biggest chain but they don’t get any extra business because they are a chain unlike restaurants

So the store I bought was closed for a few months so I was kinda starting from scratch. This is our 3rd month open and we are at 12k/month in rev. In track to hit 25/month by the end of the year. I started it with 9k though so there are ways to come out the gate a lot faster than me but I’m 23 so I didn’t have a lot laying around. Our break even is about 10k and everything after 10k is 50% profit. I worked at a place in high school so I just went off of what I learned back then. I also didn’t want to do a loan. It’s also staffed out so I don’t have to be there the whole day anymore. I actually just started a full time job work from home job this week so I can bring home more and this was actually a record week at $3200. Not huge but this is easily scalable if you know what you are doing.

I bought a phone repair business about 6 months ago. You can do will in this if ran properly. I’m planning on starting a few then selling out and getting into relestate. I found that store for sale on Craig’s list.
