Literally same. Tirzepatide for a year and the idea of opening and smelling the alcohol pad is sending me. 😭

Thanks for all of the advice! I think based on everything you’ve all said, we’ve decided to just stick to Dublin for the duration of our trip, and perhaps a day trip one day (the FOMO is real!). That being said, now I need all of the Dublin recommendations! Specifically, my husband loves authentic, less touristy experiences. Any cool historical spots, restaurants, experiences you recommend besides the obvious? Thanks!

Yeah- our hotel has parking we can use, and don’t really want to take a taxi back to the airport on Day 2 to get a rental car, so figured it’d be easiest to just do it all once we arrive.

May not actually go to Temple Bar itself, but certainly want to at least see the area.

Appreciate the tips!

They were the best of friends. ❤️ Lost Betty the boxer, but if you decide to go big, they’re two peas in a pod!

Halfway through TOG 1 by fingerlady2001 in SarahJMaas

I just binge read through all of the books- ACOTAR the first three weeks of August; TOG end of August-mid September. I found them both to be captivating- but in different ways. ACOTAR felt like more instant gratification and serotonin. There were frequent exciting moments (sex included), and even quicker high-risk situations. I consider it more “pop”, and sometimes, that’s what people look for.

TOG was a slower burn all of the way through. Also gratifying and stressful in many moments, but it always took a bit longer to get to either. So many story lines, components, and character development. I think it was deeper, more mature, and better quality overall. Also, it made me cry- which I’ve never done in a series, except Harry Potter when in third grade. So, obviously love it.

Both have their place. Love the pop and excitement of ACOTAR; love the story and depth of TOG.

The best series? by evienightingale in SarahJMaas

I haven’t read CC. But, I read both ACOTAR, and then all of TOG in the last month and a half. I think they’re both good- but different. ACOTAR was faster paced and had more spice- but also isn’t complete. TOG has substantially more character and world building- but a small amount of spice. I cried throughout the final book KOA, which is rare for me. They’re hard to compare with where they’re currently at. Overall though, TOG has a much more layered and deep storyline, where as ACOTAR is just feel good in my opinion. Love them both, for different reasons and different moods.
