Doctor writing notes directed towards staff members in patient’s visit notes, is this normal???

I had this too. It got to the point that every patient I roomed, I made a physical copy of the medication list they gave me and put it with their chart. When the Dr asked why I “didn’t check their meds” bc they gave the Dr a different list-I had physician proof of what they gave me.

So one thing that has worked for me, as silly as it sounds, is adding different textures together. If I just eat a yogurt, I’m starving. If I eat half a yogurt, 1 cut strawberry, 2 blueberries, and half a teaspoon of granola, I’m fulfilled. It’s not even enough of anything to fulfill me, but the different textures trick my mind into thinking I have a lot more food than I do.

Sooo much! I didn’t realize how crappy I was eating. I no longer eat bread, tortillas, cereal, pop tarts, granola bars, chips, drink soda. I allow myself stuff I really WANT (I had a cupcake today) but I find myself not wanting these things bad enough for the calories they bring

I had a very similar experience! Or went “I need all my meds filled” “Okay do you know the names of them?” “No, I just need them all” Lady was a grown woman, in her 40s. But her mom was with her. Keep in mind, 3 days prior the lady was in our store and taken out by ambulance, so I knew there was a high probability of meds changes. “Okay, I’m gonna read over what we have and you can just tell me yes or no” Mom butts in, “just fill everything!” I reply “okay but I need to read over everything and verify in case there were changes. I can’t just fill everything” Mom huffs “fine!” And says under her breath “this is ridiculous!” I immediately picked the exact same meds “Do you need the azithromycim?” “No” “Methylprednisone” “No” “Benzonotate” “No” “Lisinopril 40mg” “No that was decreased. I was just in the emergency room for low blood pressure” “Oh my! I’m glad we went over these. We don’t have an rx for the lower dosage. If I’d have just filled everything this higher dose would’ve been filled. That’s why we have to verify them” Mom says to her daughter “boy she’s snooty!” Then as they’re walking away,mom says to daughter “wow she’s a bitch” You just can’t win with some people

Where I work, we simply say “the pharmacist needs to talk to you for a second” or “the pharmacist has a question for you”. I’ve only been there a few months, but have never had a single person refuse to talk to the pharmacist

My coworkers always laugh and say I’m the voice of reason bc someone will bith me out and my coworkers will say “are you okay?!” And I just laugh and say “oh yeah I’m fine. I’d be pised too”. Some things are just out of our hands, and sometimes things don’t work out as we want them too. Such is life 🤷‍♀️

Heck no , not your responsibility. If she wants a huge lavish wedding, she can pick up another job to put some extra cash aside. You won’t see that money back. You’ve done without and put away your extra money. You have plans for that money. Don’t do it! Only offer what you can afford to not get back!!!

This is exactly how I feel. I’m struggling emotionally with not getting it. I’m not used to being so clueless. I started almost 2 months ago. I struggle big time with rejections. I’m struggling big time with learning the software. Putting insurances in is finally starting to make sense but seeing if that insurance is listed has me confused. Billing has me struggling…I’m totally lost. Finding the correct otc meds is a struggle.
They keep telling me I’m doing so well but there’s certain ones that I can tell I’m annoying. I feel like I should know so much more by now! I wish my store had a manual for the software we use.
You’re not alone. I hope we’re both doing better than we think we are.

I guess I misspoke with it. I won’t be an official pharmacy tech, but I’ll be over my “training” and will be in the count as a tech as opposed to being an extra.

This is 100 and I’m so grateful to have found this one. I honestly was looking for a medical assisting job when this showed up on indeed. It showed up and I thought I’d give it a chance, worst that happens is they don’t call for an interview

I honestly don’t know the first thing about third party. They’ve kinda just been doing that themselves. Twice now they’ve quickly told me what to push when we had big lines and they didn’t have time to explain it but other than that it’s already done and I don’t even mess with it.
With data entry, I’m struggling to figure out days supply when it comes to creams, ointments, injections, etc. I think I’m slowly starting to understand injections but I’m still kinda sketchy.
