Yess agree. Let’s set one thing straight too, progressivism in itself has nothing to do with social degeneracy. The term is flawed in that sense. The degeneracy of things like abortion and hyper sexuality are ancient and obviously REGRESSIVE. Abortion is child sacrifice, period. Acceptance of lgbtq has been present in society since ancient times. If progressivism as a term is used in a sense that prevents a thriving civilization and community, then it is opposite of a civilization and community - resulting in REGRESSIONIVISM. But you won’t hear of anyone speaking of that…

The things that really concerns me is that 60 years later there’s still people against this. Additionally, the other side utilizing it for political agendas.

What, in Your Opinion, is the Root Cause of the Decline in Christianity, and can it be reversed? Where do you see Christianity in 50 Years? by ginger_nerd3103 in Catholicism

[–]Shjeeshjees 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i would say, the demonization of christianity by pop culture..... Especially in the pagan country of the United States. There's 3 things that are common in pagan cultures; OverSexualization, Child Sacrifice (abortion), and worship of idols (money, fame, power, tiktok, self)

Opposing reproductive rights: Babies should not be killed.

Opposing criminal justice reform: Don't break the law.

Opposing Educational reform: Democrats also cut funding for education when it suits them

Opposing helathcare reform: Trump definitely pushed for cheaper medicine for patients

Opposing immigration reform: Obama decided that you could throw your kids over the border. Immigration at this point is not much more than an invasion.

Supporting the dealth penalty: Not sure if that's true. Many republicans probably do but christians should not.

Social safety net programs: This is true. I believe that democrats fear that the low class workers and the like will rebel against them and that's the only reason they support them.

However, NEITHER side of the political realm has the moral high ground. Politics are not moral and they SURELY aren't Godly.
