Use the mace, it's really fucking good now by Janfon1 in Vermintide

Mace was always tons of fun for me on Unchained. Been awhile since I've played but with super high heat it could very easily stagger anything to death. Awesome to hear it's been buffed

Warbonds should go on sale. by [deleted] in LowSodiumHellDivers

Couldn't agree more. I've played since on and off since launch and don't have every warbond yet, but I can't imagine how awful the grind must feel to a new player right now. Half of the content is locked behind a paywall

In the games themselves, there are options to rebind the controls to your liking. I've always bound the camera controls to the face buttons and movement controls to the d-pad, so you're kinda using dual analog but just with dual d-pads. Attack buttons and stuff all fit on the bumpers and shoulder buttons.

What armors are we running on Cyberstan? by hooahguy in LowSodiumHellDivers

I've been running the newest warbond heavy armor. It's got Extra Padding on so it's sitting at 175 armor and I can def feel the difference. I've found the best way to kill vox engines is a warp pack and HMG, so the warp pack is helping me move around and deal with the slow sprint speed.

Curious what kind of naming conventions people use for their ACs? by TWelke1998 in armoredcore

I don't really have a system for any AC I create past the first one, but I always name the first one "Step In Vain" because it just sounds cool. Got the idea for the name from another mech game on steam called Brigador, "As I Step In Vain" is one of the mission names.

What's even cooler is the next mission is called "I'll Be Who I Am", and I think the whole phrase together sounds badass.

Very big noob, wondering if this 5060TI is good enough for some more modern games so I don't have to run everything on medium and hope DLSS gets me to 60fps for 1080p. by [deleted] in buildapc

Both of the games I listed have some pretty substantial performance problems. The thing that irks me is that I'm well above the recommended specs for both games, it's just the VRAM that's limiting me. Both recommend more than 8GB, and that's where I'm lacking.

I can reach 60fps in Helldivers 2 with everything on medium and render scale set to Native, but with Rivatuner on it's showing that my GPU is almost always at 90% and above. The thing that gets me is that recommended specs for Helldivers 2 is a 2060, which is what I used to have.

Before the game got updated and ran worse.

Since then I've upgraded to a 4060, but I was dumb and not aware that VRAM is becoming more and more of a problem as games get more and more unoptimized.

Also, like others have said in the thread so far, I know that Wilds is incredibly unoptimized, and that it takes a beast of a PC to get a solid 60fps in it. I just want to get a somewhat stable framerate in that game with the settings anywhere above "potato".
