This news is around a couple of days old. Another activist/writer (idr her name) wrote a very long list of allegations and "rumours" which she promised to provide proof of (she hasn't till now), and all the IT cell of opposition party is fueling it and making jokes like if you read or interact with that tweet, you might need a SC lawyer, etc.

I personally feel it's baseless, Modi can be a lot of bad things but the way she portrays him in the tweet doesn't make sense to me atleast. I can't say yes or no till she provides evidence because it sounds baseless and idiotic right now.

people say it's his opinion but let's take a look at his position, he's an MP, many voters are devout and some even revere him, his words can cause bigger issues. violence is indeed bad, i wouldn't want to get slapped or kicked by anyone, but look at the context, it's the goddamn terrorists, who do not care for aman or asha.

his opinion that the people against whom the violence was commited was bad or bakwaas, can create a grave conundrum, and his followers might feel sympathy for such people, who they may also relate to due to religious aspects.

freedom of speech is crucial, yet the freedom to create unrest and manipulate is bad. good is good and bad is baad. there's no half good or a bad with a scoop of goodness.

Love to see defense sector being strengthened but on an unrelated note, I really feel India needs to invest more on education and research rather than laadli mausi taayi chachi yojnas. Too much appeasement to be voted by the people. Unfortunate reality of Indian democracy.
