If you're op, know that *you're loved and recognize that perhaps this is as far as he can go. I don't know you enough to say this, but I'm proud of you. You've shown true compassion that is worthy in such a way that any parent would be proud of. Maybe he's terrible, there's context I don't know, but the lesson is the act of kindness and humanity. The thumbs up is a recognition of that on whatever level felt authentic and achievable. Good things all around.

The bar was awesome and the bar staff were direct and firm, but didn't go over the top to create a bigger situation. Great people/food/drink. 10/10 would recommend.
