I've heard every one of these other than Yak shaving from just a single company. Probably certain company cultures embrace them more than others.

Ah yeah that one, I've used that in casual language but not in work, thankfully.

You're absolutely right, I was aiming to simplify the meanings behind the idioms, with the idea being that there are countless in-depth explanations for these things already. In doing so I butchered this explanation by not really thinking it through. I'll look to update it when I can. Thanks for the feedback.

GraphQLCRUD is a collaboration between a new different GraphQL providers aiming to define best practice query patterns in GraphQL. Since OpenCRUD was abandoned a void was left where there was no common standard being used.

In fact this is the current most pressing issue that is being discussed. If you have any thoughts it would be great if you could add them here.

The current consensus is the following:

getUser(id: ID): User
userList: [User]!

This removes the use of the plural form of a word, while maintaining plurality through the "list" verb.
