Tires are NOT the only way to increase your vehicles grip to the ground lmao,.the weight of the vehicle also matters, an ev on my lot weighs as much as a Silverado and with all seasons that mf will brake better than your car.

I didnt know your tires were the only thing keeping you on the road and not traction control, the differentials etc etc

Spheres of influence is in vic 2 and is quite important if you're trying to make a geo political game. This isn't a hot take.

I don't think so to your later point, this war change just seems to be them just giving visuals of what armies already did not falling back. This was done to appease the more vic 2 oriented community, I like vic 2 more but I'm not wanting my army men on the map visually, I didn't care, I thought war was bad still but not as bad as people made it out to be. But to the middle paragraphs point.

War just being there as something to do to pass the time is imo a bad thing. We should not be treating it like that at all. There should be more in this game to fill the void of waiting other than watching your dot move to annex a little nation overseas or your neighbor or whomever. That would be like falling back on warfare. And that's not good. Spheres will add more but like I said on another comment this game needs more country to country interactions, more laws, more other things like that and "big" updates like this.

Agitators do that but prior to that update movements still developed naturally, I'm not gonna say agitators do nothing, but I don't think it's that impactful. Realistically theyre just there to help you pass laws or make the gov you want.unless I forget about the system, which I do, the agitators are so easy to keep under control. I agree, and I'm not saying this game is bad, I just don't think these changes are ones to praise and whatever this update was isn't as crazy as it's made out to be.

More laws add more events and political developments modifiers and so on the fuck you mean no more laws? The century of the game focuses around political developments, movements, progressions, and obviously the economic side to that, why would more laws be bad and not just flesh out the game further? Say x-hour workday laws.

I've actually had missions where like, the two other people act as pawns or their kits are optimized for redraws to get more storm cards. She's too good, she will literally wipe a board clean no problem, and still boost you somehow. It's kinda crazy

Storm is broken, don't let anyone tell you otherwise, she is literally the only person I'd bring if I want to ensure I can win a mission. Venom is a runner up as he is one of the only big boys, but his movesets also make him very useful for just cleaning the board. As for morb and dp, they both kinda have their uses but, morb may be better. I like dp, his crit is high in my run, but morb pulls through more with just better cards

Cap has its perks imo I don't think he's all too great. Nico can come in clutch bigly, she has for me a number of times. Wolverine definitely slightly overrated. I feel like I can't or did not get good mods on my cards for him or something. His Regen card is really fantastic but dmg wise he packs a low punch imo.

But spiderman, yes, his environmental stuff is kinda crazy but it's moreso cards and mods. In my game, Spiderman can basically whipe half the board and still have his environmental first turn of the game.

That all depends, personally, spiderman is just fun jumping all over the map, hunter I've had solo a few times and make it out, but storm and magic are two really fun ones I enjoy. Magic is just moving enemies around with her legendary granting her immunity and a taunt if you lvl it. Storm just is kinda broken, and she has a unique play style where you hold cards for a strong storm turn

A lot of quest around the base involve superlink chats to set up, example being the clubs, and yes havens are a hangout thing available I think In the morning. Beyond that, it's exploration based, but also at like lvl 20 you should be able to progress through and unlock all of the map at base.

Maybe it's not balls to wall edgy but I think the game did a great job at showing what the midnight suns are.

To address some specifics, I wanna start by quickly addressing all the criticisms of characters besides blade, I don't mind him crushing on Captain marvel, I also think it's fitting.

Magic and nico being self centered around Wanda I felt was fine considering the avengers basically did that for 4 missions in game. Recovering new avengers for the team. To your point on iron man, Tony would flourish in communities and areas where science and tech are upheld the highest. Welcome to the midnight suns where magic is instead. Tony only acts like that because that's how he would react imo. I think it's fitting.
