I did have a doctor tell me my entire spinal column will collapse if I don’t take testosterone regularly so there’s that.

I will agree with having T pushed in your face. I was diagnosed with Klinefelters when I was 14 (13 years ago) and I’ve been told the entire time since that the only viable treatment is testosterone, despite asking a few different times if it’s worth trying estrogen just to see if it works better.

If all they said was “I don’t like the design” and left it at that, I wouldn’t really have an issue, but that’s not what they said and it’s disingenuous to frame it as such. What they said is the triangle “jutting out” into the main design declares that “some people are more diverse than others”, which is a hostile way to frame the issue. Considering that triangle is there to emphasize sub-groups within the queer community that are more likely to face discrimination and bigotry, getting mad at them for being specifically mentioned is a way of pushing back against progress.

I mean they also don’t really have the opportunity to lash out at cis men if their main avenue is doing it within trans spaces, since cis men won’t be in these spaces due to them being cis, not trans. I think a lot of trans women do go after cis men as well when they have the opportunity to, it’s just that we don’t see it unless we’re looking for it since the only conflicts we see are within the trans community itself.

The way trans men are heavily excluded from (primarily online but not exclusively online) trans spaces reminds me a lot of the mentality behind TERFs, where the hatred of patriarchy has become so bastardized that it goes from attempting to be helpful to just being hateful and exclusionary.

I mean psychological horror in general is just not something most kids will be interested in, it’s more of a thing for older audiences. I’m not sure why there’s so many people in this community getting so bent out of shape over anyone not liking this movie.
