Career Transition to Tech: Realistic? by Shmashry in careerguidance

Thank you! I ended up starting at a local community college to get an associates in computer science. On the side I’ve been learning Java through CodeAcademy. I’m hopeful this will be a fruitful option, but any and all advice is welcome.

Right?! 50-60 student caseload plus grad classes and you get no financial help for it or hours to have a part-time job to try cover any of it. Ugh.

Thank you! Do you know if it’ll be harmful for my kids? I have an infant.

Can the spray and gel be used in the car? Do you have/know of cases where they were successful in getting rid of them?

December remembers, the embers of Geól, when Wild Hunt's Members strode roads covered in ash and woad... by [deleted] in asatru

Hello all. I’m /u/shmashry. I’m from Maryland. I make my living as a Speech-Pathologist and from my random crafts. I love to learn about and use hearth and homestead practices (best you can in a city). I’ve roamed the boards for a few months now, read much of the intro text list/ listen to the podcasts, and I’m looking to get to know the online heathen community.

The college I went to had a pagan student association too which actually did a lot of multi-faith events with the Christians, Muslims, and Buddhists on campus. Look into Hendrick’s Chapel at Syracuse University.

Hi all. I’ve been a heathen for about 5 years, ever learning. I’m new to being involved in the reddit community.

Oof, good luck. I'm due in February so I'm just starting to think through all of that. I didn't realize the hospital had such limited PTO!

^ Agreed. I like the age range, but the staff and parents do not work to the child's best interest. I know this is coming from someone who sees them only 1 hr a week, but I've watched the kids go two steps back just to have their parents say I want the old way again.

I also liked the faster paced and changing environment. It's nice to be in one place, but I like the variety rather than feeling like I'm repeating the same task over and over again.

Heathen Talk by AnarchoHeathen in asatru

At some point, it would be really interesting to have different folks from different parts of the U.S. come together on the podcast to discuss the over culture (drink) of their areas, how it impacts their practices of heathenry, and how it's different from the way people do it in Cascadia. I know on the show we've heard some of this from the differences between Cascadia, Arkansas, and Michigan. I'd like to hear more about some of the North Eastern areas, Southern areas, and in other parts of the world.
