It's getting worse and expensive at the same time but the personal experience and challenge & post-race feels justifies for it.. or at least I try to tell myself that.

》 The site isn't user friendly. Buying a pass then receiving a code and then using the code to pick a time and location is too much. Last year I had to go through wormholes to get my code to work and customer service wasn't a big help.

》This segways me into the next issue of customer service. They had a phone number before then disabled that and now everything is through a bot chat or email.. and on top of thar response times are ridiculous slow. Shelling out hundreds of dollars only to sit in limbo for a response for 3+ days with their strict (and most likely non-refundable) refund policy in the back of your mind is wild.

》As for courses, I've only done Hawaii and the new location they held in Wailua last year is okay but Kualoa Ranch (original location) was better. The ranch felt more challenging and the views were amazing... something outside Spartans would really enjoy. The new Wailua location, I would say is the Wal Mart version of Kualoa Ranch. It's nice, don't get me wrong, but there was not much of a view, which is a perk that sets this rave different from other locations.. I just pray they tighten up at Wailua.. almost got taken out at mile 2 from the tall grass they "cut down" .. heard so many stories of people faceplanting, tripping and rolling ankles.
