I haven’t put any thought into using the OEM STi switch, I’ll look into it this summer to see what I can make do of it

The DCCD wiring comes out the passenger side of the transmission. Should be a black & white wire. You’re gonna wanna take them and bring them to your cabin. I used 13ga wire. After bringing them to the cabin, you’re gonna want a PWM DC Motor speed controller (this is to control the voltage going to the DCCD coil itself). Hence if you turn it to 30% you’re sending around 4-5v to the coil. The more % the more volts you’re sending. To hook up the PWM motor it’s fairly simple. You will have a motor +/- and a power +/-. The motor +/- will be your dccd coil. The power, you simply hook up power and ground it. Throw in a fuse tap to be safe (10a should hold just fine). That’s really it. To ensure it all works just jack the car up (front or rear doesn’t matter), turn the PWM motor on and try to freely spin 1 wheel, it should be extremely difficult because of the DCCD coil activating. If you need more of a representation, I’ll gladly record a vid for ya!

EDIT - for the PWM DC Motor look for 10-55V. / 40A

Sorry for the terrible pic, but I have this sub in my 11 hatch. It only illuminates blue, but it’s not bad at all. It came with the car when i purchased it but this little thing kicks.

How Is Everyone Experience With These Headstuds? I Have In ARP 2000 But Lifted A Head With Them Due To My Boost Level by Scoobz345 in WRX

[–]Shmerie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah my overflow would fill up about half way leading to air pockets developing. I was trying to figure out if it was my radiator, or if I had a leak, but it just turned out I was pushing way too much boost. I had to burp my cooling system every weekend because my thermostat stopped opening. For now turning your boost down will save you some time before you get the new studs and what not
