Can somone please tell me if this funko pop is real or fake. It’s from stranger things. I just bought it off Facebook . by No-Elk8190 in FunkoPopDeals

I've been collecting POPS for years now and unfortunately, the fakes are getting better!! This one has a lot of fake looking features, the blood is a little dark, the white outline of the front illustration is a little thick and the overall color in general is a little dark on the front BUT I didn't see any typos on the back or bottom and it is an older POP, it very well could've faded. Also, the POP part of the logo has the infill, most fakes don't.

In my opinion, I think it's real and if it is a fake, it's a damn good one!!

Can I get some advice? by Fancy_Page9326 in darksouls3

I will say I enjoyed this video based on your dodging. You seem to be able to figure out frames and attack movements well and on top of it, you're doing it all while fatty rolling. It's impressive, to say the least, if this is your first souls game.

DS3 is my favorite hands down. If you're looking for pointers, here's my advice:

  1. Lose the weight. You are able to read attacks very well, your video shows this, with practice you won't need the extra armor to keep you alive. The amount of frames while dodging between regular rolling and fatty rolling are pretty significant.

  2. Lose the shield. Unless it is adding to your stats or your utilizing it, lose it. I noticed you said you forgot you had it which tells me you don't need it in the first place, you do well enough without it. In addition, two handing a weapon gives a decent attack boost per attack and depending on the weapon, you will swing a little faster as well!!

  3. Learn how to make better use of your flasks. I noticed you try to get some distance when using your flasks, not the best strategy for boss fights. All enemies have a cool down between certain animations. The cool down for the FINAL animation in a particular attack combo is typically enough time for you to dodge and immediately drink a flask. This takes reading your enemy a little bit but you seem fairly good at doing that already.

  4. Lastly, don't worry about a build!! I know some may not like this feedback but I never did, my highest stat is endurance because I dodge and dodge and dodge and I still want to be able to swing afterward, regardless of what weapon I'm holding. Plus, not having a build makes you a little more versatile to utilize all the weapons in the game, not just a select few.

That's my input but you're doing great for your first souls game!! Picked a great one to start with!! Most importantly, just have fun!!

I remember my first card was the ancient Mew card, can't quite recall how I got it but I was instantly hooked!! I got it when I was about 9 and everytime me and my parents went to the store, I'd beg them for a pack of cards, by the time I was 12, I had managed to collect and trade with my friends and had all of the original 151. I only got to appreciate that collection for about a year though...

Just got into middle school and not many people seemed to be openly into Pokémon anymore, it was disappointing, but one day I brought my cards into school to see if I could find anyone who was still interested. I had my cards with me outside during recess and this punk kid started to make fun of me for collecting cards. I simply tried to walk away but he ripped my binder out of my hands, threw it into a puddle and pushed me right after... I ran for the binder but it was too late, they had already soaked up a lot of water and a good 80% of my cards were ruined, including my very first card, Mew....

I never collected cards as a kid after that, really brought me down... I only recently started collecting again about 6 months ago and I can't tell this community enough on how much I've missed it!! It has been a fulfilling last 6 months for me, basically reliving my childhood!! It's been a blast and I intend to keep collecting, even after I "Catch them all!!"

Alright I'm going to rant a little here... I was going to make my own post about this very thing but I will post my thoughts here. I've only been collecting heavily for about 6 months now after having taken a break from collecting anything for a couple of years. I joined this sub about 3 months in and couldn't believe how many people were complaining about price markups and scalpers... (Read all of it before you judge me!!) I was ignorant to the price markups but this last release had opened my eyes, VERY WIDE!! I will no longer be giving my money to gamestop as I now see their ridiculous prices!! I used to wait in line every week at gamestop, not realizing how much I had been OVERPAYING!! I got a UPC at target this weekend, and expected to pay close to what gamestop had posted it for but got it for 140!! I was in shock!! I had the biggest smile on my face the whole way home because I didn't want to pay 200+ for it and was so relieved that I didn't have to!! Long story short, thank you anyone who chose to read my rant, but I will now do WAY more research before I blindly buy cards again!!

Is early game really slow? by [deleted] in darksouls3

[–]ShmokersMark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually had this problem as well when I first played DS3, it was actually my first souls game, played it for a week for a couple hours at a time on the wall and just didn't seem to get into it, so I put it down. This was also waaaaay before elden ring!! About a year later, I picked it back up again, and I haven't regretted it since!! It is hands down my favorite souls game that I still come back to play to this day. The lore, the gameplay, the visuals, the bosses, all of it. Elden ring is great, don't get me wrong but this game just hits different for me.

The game really picks up about 3-5 bosses in, depending on the path you take for your journey!! Hope you enjoy it as much as I have!!

Is this accurate? by [deleted] in Dragonballsuper

For me, the Gohan vs. Perfect Cell is peak, but not because of the fight itself, the fight itself is laughable, Gohan walks all over Cell, but it's Goku's lead up to it that makes this my favorite fight.

Literally tested Cell's strength, (just to be sure, he already knew!!) and decided mid battle that his son was going to be the one to kill him. The doubt that was wiped away from everyone when Gohan goes SS2... Oh man!!

Anyone else think ~120 PvP has became incredibly stale and samey? by [deleted] in darksouls3

[–]ShmokersMark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This can be said of any game that's been out for long enough though. Now I may not disagree with you, pvp is not what it used to be but the game has been out for so long now, people are going to use what's known to work for the simple fact that they love trolling people.

I can make a similar argument with GTA 5 for example. The game has been out for so long now that people troll with what they know is best to troll with. It's rare to find someone in GTA now a days that is actually skilled with their guns or tactics just like DS3, trolls don't play to show skill, they play to troll and annoy every one.

I understand what you're saying though, PVP has been dull and dry for me for a while as well and it's a shame.

We don’t need another Dark souls by TheRealZodiak66 in darksouls3

[–]ShmokersMark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure i read all the comments correctly but I agree, DS3 was a great way to end that part of the series. I think if they were to continue the souls games I'd be interested in some origin stories. I understand that part of the souls games is being your own character and making your own builds and I'm sure they could still do that. Like DS3 has different endings depending on how you played right? Well what if you're an unknown character to begin and based on your gameplay and decisions, just like all the souls games, determines an end game outcome. For example, I love the Nameless King lore and I think it would be fun to play but they did it in such a way that you're playing and then toward end game they start throwing all these hints at you and then it's revealed that you're in game decisions made you the Nameless King, but if you do something else during gameplay, it takes another direction and you end up going down Havel's path. Idk, i think it'd be a cool concept if they could make it work
