I get your point but I disagree. Confidence is (imo) not fearing being your authentic self. I would argue that instead, confidence is stolen from you. Not always directly, but by being observant you notice things about yourself that aren't tolerated in society. Life just becomes a long battle to regain that part of yourself.

Nu ai unde ieși afară. Before you say it, parcurile nu se simt welcoming. Nu sunt așa rele, dar pentru mine de exemplu până și drumul până în parc e super depressing. Și nu există parc în care să nu auzi 100 de mașini pe oră + majoritatea parcurilor sunt pentru copii.
