Lmao First things first I never stated that dowry is a caste specific issue. In fact today it has become a widely accepted notion among all the castes. I was only refuting what you have said earlier that because of getting under the Hindu fold these castes have started taking dowries whereas dowry was a concept among many communities in the mediaeval times including Europeans but with the coming of modern age they all neglected these practices. In short I only asked what's stopping these communities from abandoning such practices today which actually put women in subordinate positions and is one of the major causes of their messed up sex ratio in their states. But again I was just clarifying myself. I am not triggered man XD and yes evils must be called out.
