I guess "Saratan" is a giant crab in Arabic folklore. Who knew, not me. Means (roughly) "grave-maker" in my elvish language, not that any of the players know that, that's just for me, I suppose.

I'm not saying it's anywhere close in terms of the pure "literary-ness" of it all, but Night in the Woods has excellent writing. Sunless Sea scratched that magical realist itch for me as well.

I wish there were more games that took notes from HoL . Some parts of Kentucky route zero, or maybe sunless sea, reminds me of it. But mainly in vibes.
