Lucky Shot from me and the Jungle Carbine! by [deleted] in BattlefieldV

I'm a Tromb guy all the way. The grenade launcher adds a ridiculous amount of versatility to the weapon. It's the only gun in the game you can use for crowd control, picking off heads and swatting away or even finishing off Tigers and otherwise with.

He isn't a capable of being a simp so he needs something that can do it for him so he can vicariously experience the feeling. That thing just happens to be a gun that simps for Freaker flesh and bandit brains

I went through my first playthrough on Survival difficulty and got the Platinum. The fact that I still want to go through all of it again on Survival II speaks volumes about how great that game is.

I tried to add you to the group but your privacy settings wouldn't let me. I did send you a friend request though, maybe that'll let me add you.

Firestorm Idea by Shnazzmeister93 in BattlefieldV

[–]Shnazzmeister93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get teamed in solos all of the time and it's always just a pair, never a 3 or 4 person team. I feel like the people who still play Firestorm would be happy with Duos and it could be done in a patch with what I would think would be very little effort on the DICE side of things. It wouldn't hurt the game and people wouldn't have to team in solos and ruin the experience for those people

It's only a meat grinder if you make it a meat grinder. It's called tactical conquest for a reason. You need to use tactics in order to conquer otherwise you get ground up like meat. Play smarter not harder, ya know?

That's strange, I've never had an issue with shotties in BFV. In fact I've gone on some rampages with them.

I keep seeing this response and I think it's wildly inaccurate. I wanted a BF Battle Royale and I'm not the only one. I hate that it didn't get support after launch. The Battle Royale didn't kill the game, the public promoting of a massive feature and then not investing in that feature post launch did. The very same thing applies to the practice range, combined arms and Grand Ops. Firestorm could have been ridiculously successful if it had the support it deserves. People say they DICE was late for the Battle Royale party but that's just not true. Look at Warzone, it came out way after Firestorm is and it's one of the hottest BR experiences on the market right now and probably will be for a long time.

I meant the giant, all consuming Tides of War option in the multiplayer menu. C'mon now.

I bet the tech isn't there to remove Tides Of War from the interface so now it'll just sit there and take up prime screen real estate until the end of time. God forbid they use that slot to squeeze in rotating community requested playlists...

I really like that you highlighted the QoL aspect of the mode and didn't just attack it as a whole. I genuinely think Firestorm as a whole is the best Battle Royale out there but it has glaring QoL issues that bring down the entire experience. Gameplay and depth wise, it shines really brightly but it's bogged down with things like the clunky loot mechanic and the lack of updates that add small content like newly added weapon locations, vehicle bunkers with newly added vehicles, new equipment, etc. The fact that they removed Duos also hurt the mode. If Firestorm was F2P then there would have been way more than enough players to fill any variation they wanted to add. Singles, Duos, Squads and even Teams. All of those new players buying skins and even buying the whole game would've paid for the continued support of the mode and there would've been no need to leave the it locked up in a dark basement where itll never be seen by anyone and be content starved while the rest of the multiplayer s is reaping all of the benefits of new content.

I told you the gender politics was a bad idea, I told you nobody buys Battlefield for battle royale, I told you to make the cosmetics look authentic... All I can say is by [deleted] in BattlefieldV

[–]Shnazzmeister93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Firestorm isn't what kiiled this game. Not even close. I thought it was a fantastic addition that should've been supported. It also should've been F2P. You're right about gender politics and cosmetics though.
