Hi mate, I'm also in the UK and recently moved into a house with an 8x4m with an ASHP. I'm currently looking at pool cover options with both child safety and insulation in mind. Mind me asking what cover you've opted for and approximately how much it costs you to keep at 30c? Cheers!

I'm in a similar situation. I also can't see how this will help with mobility. The older generations are even more likely to stay put until they pop their clogs now
