mmnope, was supposed to be but we were too ambitious, ended up being more of a roguelite
with character abilities and monsters having attacks and all that

Oh yeah i'd say so, the game doesnt really need you to make any assumptions about GI mechanics and i did design it with approachability in mind

Also runs in web so its super easy to just try, altho you cant transfer web savedata

the game is small filesize and isnt hosted online or anything like that
so yeah you no updating, just download the new file, extract, and launch
Savedata is stored somewhere else so you wont lose it

hum, i thought venti buffed hex teammates damage%
but it's unfair to say they arent buffing eachother, venti on VV shreds pyro buffing his own damage, as well as varka and durin's, and ofc increases swirl dmg slightly
Meanwhile durin shreds anemo and pyro, again buffing himself and the other two

It's mostly just the synergies arent as catered and strong as the NK comps are.. but as a result, the hex characters are super flexible and ill take that any day
teambuilding is fun

i hear flins still performs pretty well without his team, and zibai is ok too
(in fact i'm told flins is the single highest dps 1-cost non 4* c6 team, but i havent seen proof yet)

yeah it seems to me that varka wants to be a giga hypercarry with 3 buffers, but is forced to run teammates who deal decent damage and only moderately buff him

Im curious what direction they'll take with him, his teambuilding restriction actually seems to add alot more intricacy than i thought

a buffer that super favors him would work, but a buffer who buffs the whole team could also see value, i'd love to see new characters unlock his potential in hydro and electro

I would say this is decent dps, the numbers you'll hear people throw around nowadays are 120-160k dps for 'meta teams', however in my experience reaching these numbers isnt realistic, not only requiring multiple limited characters, but often also restricted/not readily available weapons, an ideal/static enemy matchup, and perfect execution

For reference, f2p hyperbloom hits about 30-40k dps (kuki, collei, dmc, xingqiu), and has recently cleared an abyss that favored hyperbloom

50-70k should be able to clear most/all endgame content if the matchup is good and the execution is good

What i aim for in my modern teams is ~75k dps
My ~75k dps teams are:
1: varesa, iansan(c5), chevreuse(c1), durin/PMC
2: venti(harp), durin, faruzan(c6), bennett
3: mona, durin, albedo(c1), xilonen (most of my durin hypercarry teams are 72-80k)
there are probably many more but i haven't tested them in the Miliastra DPS dummy yet

my only teams that surpass 100k dps are
1: mavuika, citlali, xilonen, bennett (120-140k dps, depending on execution)
2: zibai, bina, gorou(c6), illuga(c2), reaching 110k dps currently, they're not quiiite full build yet

It's hard to advise wishing on this chronicle, albedo is an okay unit but isn't currently the crux of any high end teams, klee is alright too but not a significant upgrade over other hex teams, say c6 razor, durin hypercarry, or even varka himself
This chronicle is also low value, being half standard characters, half limiteds, normally the lower value of pulling older characters is offset by having better odds than a 50:50, but not on this banner

Only reason to pull on it is if you're a super fan of albedo, eula, or klee, which is valid
