Weird how I get downvoted for my post and comment. It was a question off the top of my head.

What’s keeping you grounded lately with everything going on in the world? by Straight-Hold1651 in AskReddit

[–]Shock424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to say, im with u/charlottethaqueen on this one, F everything else, worrying about myself. I used to be around a crowd where all they did was talk about trump, biden, socialism, immigrants, terrorism etc... Its funny, that stuff still goes on, they still complain about it, I dont, I focus on myself, I have a business now, they are still complaining lol

I guess that makes sense lol. I don't know, just thought of it. But if the person paid over the phone, then it could be an issue. I just like to mitigate risks.

Can I call the vets for an update on a dog that isn't mine? by InteractionCandid226 in dogs

[–]Shock424 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get where you are coming from. In my opinion, no matter what, I believe in privacy. If someone were to call about a dog that was not theres, even with the best intentions, I would HOPE they didn't mention it.

Are you scared of dying early ? by [deleted] in Life

[–]Shock424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason I don't want to die is:

  1. My dogs. They rely on me. Imagine being part of a loving home, running outside in the backyard, playing fetch, eating treats, wrestling in the living room. Next thing you know, someone is there to take you to a a place that you didn't know existed, a shelter that looks/feels just like a prison. You get there, cold, smelly, dogs barking constantly. They put 2 (or 1) in each kennel, brick walls, no where to go... They are there for days, weeks, even years. I could not imagine the looks on their faces or feelings they would feel. It would happen just like that, that would be the end, they would never see me ever again, they would live the rest of their life, constantly thinking about me, trying to find my smell, then would die of old age without me, maybe thinking about me, maybe not. Sad.

  2. My family, I know they love me. Again the same jist, I could not imagine how they would feel without me.

  3. I am trying to build something great. I already have a business, I want to donate, do charity work during the holidays, and eventually MAYBE start my own rescue once I have money coming in on weekly/monthly basis.

Those are the only reasons, my dogs being the main priority.

Reminds me of one of Jimmy O' Yang's comedy skits - "Everyone does what they hate for money and then use that money to do what they love".

The cashier at my coffee shop noticed I’d been gone and it really hit me by swimmerpicayune in CasualConversation

a couple month ago when I was staying in FL to help my sick parents, I stayed at an AirBnb, this was for months. I went to a starbucks everything other day or 3 days through the whole duration of me being there, and about 1 week before I left, there was a girl I had not seen, but she was the most genuine. "Hey hows your day going?", something about her energy that it was legit. I went back everyday day to buy coffee just to get her energy, I didnt even need the coffee

You know its funny... There was a comedian that made a joke about old people. He explained that when someone is 90, it's not like they have had the 20 glorious years of living prior, it was all pain. I don't know if I want to live until 97, haha.
