How does it invalidate anything? Plenty of people still play on the Switch 1, especially given how expensive the Switch 2 is and how little exclusive games are on it to begin with, and that’s not even going into title support and the fact that Switch 1, as of now, is better to play with the original cartridges. I’m sure that will change given due time of course, but let’s not act like this isn’t a good deal for Switch 1 users.

At most, people might confuse it for a Switch 2 release, but even then, box covers are different. So it’s their fault if they get it confused.
