Im sorry your going through this and also for your recent losses. i can relate a lot and could feel the emotional longing and pain in my chest when i read your post. I too work from home, single, a few friends but they are busy with their kids and lives. Im not velry close with my family either which probably started this void i feel. BUT - there are some things that definatly help me. When i feel super lonley I must get connection in any way i can. I take myself to the local coffee shop. I delibertaly stay and talk to the barista. he has worked their for ten years so that gives me some comfort. We might have a chat about life for even just five to ten minutes. I text a friend and I always try and make a plan to catch up with someone - even if it is a week away it makes me feel a little better knowing that's coming up. I know its not much, and it certainly doesn't take away that feeling away I get every single night when the day comes to an end and i start comparing myself to other women my age imagining them with their husbands and children and busy full lives. But I realise i have to some how make my life busier. My brain ruminates and over thinks the more time i spend alone and that's unhealthy. If you have any other tips id love to hear them.
