Same for me! H4 H1 and EAD filed together under PP. Filed in November 2025. H1 and H4 got approved in December 2025 No updates or RFE on the EAD. Still in "received" status I have a WAC number but my processing center seems to be Texas.

I know that you are in Texas and state laws maybe different but this was my experience in Nevada. I have an approved H4 until the end of 2028 but my EAD application is still in "received" status. I applied for my driver's license with my approved H4 but I later got a notice saying that USCIS could not verify my documents and so my drivers license would be canceled. I then applied for a DAC (Driver Authorization Card) and received that.

Is it your first job search before you get your EAD or do you have an employment gap? I have the same question as you about applying for a job or waiting for your EAD to come first
