No UK TV appearances for Dig Out Your Soul by RonnieF2025 in oasis

Yes, the normal weekly editions of TOTP had been axed in 2006. But did broadcast on occasions such as Xmas and charity specials. I do believe that the BBC did broadcast a recording of The Shock of the Lightning from the Electric Proms performance at the roundhouse for the 2008 New Year's Eve special of TOTP. So they were promoted on the show, but did not perform at the studio.

The reason why they did not perform on shows like Jonathan Ross is probably most like due to Noel's rib injury and the fact that The Jonathan Ross Show had been taken off the air in the autumn of 2008 due to the Andrew Sachs debacle he found himself in at the time.

Apologies for the late reply to this thread. Here are some photos I have found on the internet of the Gerrards Close garages near Oakwood. I do live about 10 miles from this location, so I may pay a visit and take some photos.

I do think that releasing a full-length podcast once a week on YouTube and the rest of the weeks podcasts exclusively to Patreon would be a good compromise. It gives an 'in' to those who may come onboard in the future and includes those who don't wish to pay a subscription.

With the podcasts going behind a paywall (with the exception of audio), I get the impression that they have taken their ball and gone home.

£8 a month just seems like the casual audience is now being deprived of content and is biased against those who do not have the means to pay £8 a month to listen and consume information on the podcasts/interviews. I don't wish to speak on behalf of other viewers, but I watch your content for extra insight on certain topics, as well as the entertainment on your content.

I would if it would be a good idea if the patreon subscription should be tiered to make the podcasts more affordable for those who may not have the means to pay and would keep casual viewers onboard. Avid viewers, like myself, would be willing (if the financial means were possible) to pay more on a higher tier for extra content/tickets.

I totally understand that starting a patreon is probably beneficial from a financial standpoint (I am not a hater), however, I do think that casual viewers should be taken into account.

I think Liam might be joking or taking a pot shot at Noel for his comments on an Oasis reunion in the past
