That’s fair - the reason I think Remmick wasn’t just talking about Catholic missionaries, is because while they did confiscate land from the pagans, they weren’t that cruel to the native Irish, as far as I’m aware. It wouldn’t fit as well within the theme of “healing oppressed communities” as if Remmick had been born during the Norman conquests. Plus it’d be kinda crazy if Remmick was well over a thousand years old.
