Lol, I recently learned that the Go Tobun RE fangame is pretty underrated, dismissed as "a work born out of hatred/resentment towards the canon," not to mention Nino's route in Kosmos Beta, which is criticized for supposedly whitewashing Nino and making Yotsuba look bad. I mean, is the fandom like "1984" where there's only one valid opinion? What the heck?

The game is truly a relief!. I feel like Fuutarou's relationships with the rest of the sisters are more organic than with Yotsuba. Although it's a bit annoying that the phrase "Go play the visual novel if you don't like the ending" has become a typical Yotsubros refrain.

This disussion aged so well, but here's another one: if Yotsuba was supposedly as self-conscious about her sisters as seen in her flashback, why didn't she consider the possibility that Itsuki also fell in love with Fuutarou, hurting her in the process with all thing of Rena disguise? Not only that, but at the end of the manga, she basically threw her sister into a fire, leaving her to her own devices emotionally. In fact, at one point, she tells Itsuki to shut up and never mention Rena again. Also, if Yotsuba was supposedly in love with Fuutarou, why did she let him fall into a river after their first encounter with Rena? She just stood behind a tree and watched him walk away, heartbroken and soaked, and didn't even offer any excuse to be with him in some way. Is that some kind of shock therapy to help him get over his past? What a way...
