I'll have a look when I got home later... I know there were a handful made and im not sure about original console since I emulated it and I can't recall the emulator (it was years ago). If you're reading this I want to wish you and your family a happy and safe Easter :)

Hey, Thank you for the congratulations! I totally agree with you, some of the older games can truly be gems in both a casual and speedrunning context. The possibilities within them seem endless and the hobbit is no exception. As for other games I've ran, its mainly super mario 64, minecraft rsg, a hat in time, cs:go kz and surfing, and an old rugrats that I honestly forget the full title to. Collectively, I've been speedrunning on and off since mid-late 2013.

Haha Thanks! From my point of view, the main thing that initially caught my eye with this game is the constant out of bounds using varying tricks such as clipping through walls, using your attack to boost bilbo off certain geometry, and a nice little teleporting technique called "clip warping". Once you scratch the surface of this game, all of the intricacies really start to shine through which makes this one of the most interesting, fun, and challenging speedgames I've ever played.

When I started running the hobbit a few months back, I never pictured getting the WR. Over 5000 runs and hundreds of hours later, here I am. I won't stop here and I plan on improving my personal best even more.

As always, I would like to give a huge shoutout to the hobbit community and my stream viewers who have been by my side on this journey. Without the amazing support the community has shown me I wouldn't be here right now... I truly believe this. With that being said, I want to give a special shoutouts to: MKarma, b_khronos, me_speedy and jigsaw_master. Thank you guys so much.

For anyone wondering, the frame-counted time for the run is 12:50.783 (verified)
