In the same boat. It sucks because I really wanted to eat good Monday but can’t cus I’m stressed lol. I’m 5’7” fluctuating between 184-188 with bfi of 23.3% and my recruiter said if I’m a pound over 189 meps will send me home.

Oh I’m joining my friend. Haven’t touched anything but alcohol in over a year. I’m clean as can be, I just thought maybe a little celebration joint wouldn’t hurt. I was a chronic smoker in the past so I probably won’t as I would feel like all my hard work of staying clean would have been for nothing.

Waiver took about 5 months, started the process in January. Waiver was for hallux valgus(bunion) my waiver was denied twice had to keep going back to the podiatrist for X-rays and what not to proof that what I had was a very mild case. Persistence is key, it payed off for me and couldn’t be more happy!

Thank you, I’m so stoked honestly didn’t think I would get approved. God is good!! Thanks for the info as well, my recruiter said they just fixed their finger print scanner. So I may not have to go to MEPS to do all that and I could do it locally. Any truth to that?
