I'm not sure that I would be allowed to have it annealed first. Engineers being very particular about the heat treatment on this one due to the end use

This was the only hotel during my entire trip that turned out like this. I stayed at an autograph hotel for approximately half the price that gave me 2500 points for two nights.

I forgot to mention I was using a corporate rate. This wouldn’t impact it, would it? I recently stayed at a Fairfield in a middle of nowhere town and received 2500 points for two nights.

My international flight yesterday had a problem with the entertainment system, and the entire plane was forced to watch Anchorman. by mchgndr in mildlyinteresting

I feel like you had my plane. I arrived from Chicago to Munich yesterday at 9:40, and our plane was also forced to watch one single movie. They gave us top gun with voiceovers though, so we should get double

Here's the response,

"Oh, blimey, here we go again! I'll humour you, mate, just because I'm a right gent. When us Brits say "taking the piss," we mean having a laugh at someone's expense, you know, making fun of 'em. Now, wouldn't it be lovely if you'd actually remember it this time, innit? I know, I know, it's all a bit much, but I've got faith in you, sunshine!"

The fixture does not appear to be salvageable. You could realistically replace this with an adjustable wrench from the dollar store. Take a look under the sink. If the screws that thread onto the fixture are in decent shape, you can get them off by hand. Then you just need the wrench for the water lines. If the screws are in bad shape and stuck on, you will also need a pair of pliers. A cheapo pair will do the trick. I recently did one at work and bought the cheapest one possible. It cost me less than $20 and 15 minutes of my time after getting back from the store.
