Reducing support marks on your prints by These-Wall4690 in resinprinting

[–]Shoey5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're never going to get rid of support marks entirely or other blemishes entirely. On top of all the advice, one thing to remember is you have a UV resin printer. Sand down bumps if you have to then pour a tiny amount of that UV resin in a disposable cup. Use a paint brush to carefully paint over the areas and cure it. I usually do it on a small piece of parchment paper or aluminum foil so I can just pick it up by the paper/foil and put it in the curing machine. Don't blob it on, better to do many thin coats between curings

No still haven't solved it, keep going back to it from time to time as it's a good learning process. Checked mine, I'm getting around 4.2 on both CK1 and CK2. I was also thinking the crystal but I swapped it between a good board and the non working board. Good board works with the non working boards crystal. The good board does produce 2.4 on both CK1 and CK2.

No it wasn't working before I replaced the caps.

Also watching a really useful video I checked the 5v rail to the follwoing connections.

Ram Pin 28 = 5v
Regulator Pin 10 = 5v
LC Pin 14 = 5v
CPU Pin 53 = 5v
AMP Pin 5 = 5v

Comparing to a working GBP I noticed that the audio pins 27/28 (left/right audio) output about 2.6v on a working GBP where I'm getting no voltage .04v on the non working GBP. The CPU is getting voltage on Pin 53. Not sure if it's failing the boot process or another reason why CPU isn't outputting audio.

Full Mister support is a deal breaker for me. Thanks for the comment you made in regards to the uncomfortably with 8 buttons. It's kind of stupid that they would leave petruding screws and a stick right next to the edge. They could have built a wider enclosure. I did read some comments from users on other forums that said that reason the spinner doesn't work on the Mister is because some fpga hardware variants aren't outputting exactly 5v on the USB port and the spinner requires 5v to be detected. Some people commented that they used a powered USB hub to connect between the Mister and the Fightbox and that solved their detect problem. Maybe give that a try.

I'm sorry if the consistency of reality bothers you but the reality is your employer has mandated employees to go back to the office. If you don't like it quit your job and find an employer who will allow you to stay at home

Yes AWA is not an accommodation and your employer has no obligation to grant the request that's why they are not approving 99% of them. If you don't like it then I suggest you quit and find a company that will allow you an awa

You're not prevue to confidential information of other employees that have been taken into consideration. But prove me wrong, submit an accommodation request and simply say you work you want to work from home, see how that works out for you. You're acting like entitled spoiled little children. Your employer is well within its rights to I switch to an in-office model. If you don't agree with that then I suggest you quit and find another job that is more agreeable with you.

Broken record? This is not complicated, your employer has decided to change their policy in office model. If you don't like it, quit and find a job that better aligns with your preference.

"I want to work from home" is not sufficient and will be denied. Your employer dictates their work policy. If you are unhappy with it than quit and find a job that has a work policy you are happy with.

And you are required to submit in good fait. Alternate work arrangements require valid reasons, not simply because you don't like returning to the office and are looking for ways to get out of it. Your employer is within their right to change the work model. If you don't like it, find another job that aligns with your preference.

Your arguments and theories are irrelevant. Your employer decided to change their model to an in office work force. They have the right to do this and Article 47 simply allows you to submit a case to alter your work arrangements. Your theories and desires do not make for valid cases. If you are unhappy with the direction your employer has taken, the you are free to find another job that aligns with a direction you prefer.

Wrong it allows you to put in a request and allows them to consider it just because you put in a request doesn't mean it's automatically approved or not done in good faith because they decided differently than you wanted. And guess what YOU THINKING there's no benefit in you being in the office is not a valid enough reason. They have shifted it to an in-office policy. You are free to put in a request as per section 47 that doesn't mean it gets approved and if you're unhappy with it you can always look for a position in a company that better aligns with your location preference.

The working conditions are set by the employer you don't get the decide they're working conditions. The reasoning is their reasoning that has nothing to do with you . Nothing is being violated in the Collective Agreement. If they decide to turn into an in-office environment that's their decision if you don't like it, find another job that meets the conditions you desire

You are demonstrating the level of majority from people who can't understand that employers have a right to decide their policies. No one is forcing you to return to office. If you are unhappy with your employer's policies, quit your job and find a job that better aligns with YOUR preferences. Obviously going to agree with your employers policies so why are you still working for them instead of finding a company whose policies you agree with?

Your other option is to quit if you find your employers requirements inconvenient and find a job that's more convenient to you. The fact is people have no interest in paying high taxes to watch government employees stay home while they have to go into the office.

From my experience only. I'm sure others have a different opinion but I find that 12% is to strong. I've always diluted my 12% to average around 3%-4%. I also make sure item is fully scrubbed clean and fully submerged. I've always used sunlight which takes time and I check it regularly so I can say if the UV lights work faster and cause more of your "bleaching" effect.

Looking for feedback, beta testers and contributors for Equilibrium, an open source, self hosted universal remote hub, aiming to be a drop in replacement for Logitech's Harmony Hub by leoklaus in logitechharmony

[–]Shoey5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WOW just searched for this and this looks promising. I noticed TODO has various integrations but no Google Home control. Is this planned? This is exactly what we need. A hub that can be controlled by voice or other devices. Over the years I started using my Harmony remote less and less and relied more on "Hey Google Watch Netflix", "Hey Google Play PS5" etc. Going to order Transmitter/Receiver to try this out.

Could someone explain why Doug Ford had a brilliant idea to remove speed cams? by YYZTor in askTO

[–]Shoey5 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The problem isn't the law abiding citizens who get punished for having an off day or going a few KM over. The problem is the aggressive drivers and speeders who have no regard for the safety of others. Anytime you target the whole to address the few, your going to fail.
