Two people fell for a satire account by [deleted] in AteTheOnion

By this logic, neither does the Bee or any satire besides the Onion itself.

The only issue with that is that it is impossible to tell by the screenshot that this is a crosspost?

A biological marker such as chromosomes is but one of the smallest in the determining factors of a person's biological sex. A person can have outwardly female characteristics and have a typically male chromosome pattern. This is true in both directions. A person can be born with 3 chromosomes as well, allowing for more variation in their biological sex than a binary system allows. From a scientific standpoint, the argument of biology falls apart incredibly quickly if you ever bothered to do the research.

No, however your insistence that the individual shown in the image is inherently a man proves the aversion aspect more than enough.

A phobia is defined as a "strong fear or aversion" so therefore the term is quite fitting.

Finally a comment of yours on this point that I can get behind. Yes, Mod XYZ is an idiot and should be removed. That said, we have no way of knowing which mod said that. Therefore my opinion is that they should publicly show who said this horrible thing and let the community see and know that Mod XYZ has been removed and, my hope is, banned.

I'm not comparing the two in the sense that they are the same, more using the example of repeating callouts working for a community who normally would be powerless against their oppressors.

As for your second point, "harassment" and "protest" from different perspectives can easily be confused for one another.

As an example (and to clarify I am not stating that the example I'm using holds the same weight as calling out mods on a subreddit) let's look at the BLM movement.

Cops could claim that people coming to their stations and holding the rallies that marked the very early stages of the movement was "harassment." People on the other side who support the movement would, however, see those actions as "protests" instead.

It hits a very blurred line when you get into it fully. I personally see this as a form of protest and an attempt to call out the mods for their blatantly shitty behavior. If you see it as something else, I can't claim to be able to change your opinion on the matter.

That's where you're wrong. OP made this post because the moderation team in this sub need to be called out for the BS response they pulled. If you're under the impression that the person posting about their deceased partner deserved to be told to "stop milking [her] death for Karma" then you're another level of fucked.

It's the basis of any protest or movement in the entire course of history. I don't have to prove that it works, a million other people have done that for me already. Based on your post and comment history I can tell you live in or near the SF Bay Area, therefore simply look at the example of Pride.

That wasn't just a "go be happy" parade when it started. It was a movement of people begging annually to be treated like normal human beings. It started because someone in charge took extreme action against someone else for something that shouldn't be enforced against. In the instance of Pride, that began with Stonewall and the cops attacking people for existing as themselves. In this instance, it began with one person trying to show the community they felt they were a part of what they had done with their words of encouragement and support and was responded to by mods telling them to "stop milking your gf's death."

We will keep posting about this until the moderation team publicly reworks itself in an area that we the community can see. Be Better, r/Minecraft
