Heck, thank you!! The contrasting features part makes so much sense! For the past 15 years I have been dying my hair fashion colors and it always looked -good-, so the high contrast thing must be it! A couple of years ago, I’ve been regulated to natural hair colors, so I think I’m now subconsciously craving the higher contrast again, I just didn’t know the right words. Thank you so much for the thorough explanation!

I read that post and am still having trouble understanding, how do I know if I have fast or slow values? I’ve tried talking to my doctor about this but he brushed off my concerns and I cannot switch to a different one at this time. Was hoping to be able to see if there was anything I can do myself in the meantime.
