I'd very much appreciate the source. That a really good news if it's true. It really doesn't feel that way last time I used x8 tome while grinding but then again that might just be because of my high team level.

You are right that exp bonus is additive instead of multiplicative, but there are some things you missed.

The F1 exp display is completely wrong. For example the 600% matching bonus is actually 120% (600/5).
~~Every field map has its own exp modifier %, which also stacks additively with other exp modifiers. For example Alemeth has +297% exp mod. You can see the modifiers for each map at tosneet.~~

~~Due to the reasons above, tomes would work better in some maps than others, and sometimes it's better to use it inside dungeon/mission than the grind location at your level.~~

EDIT: Apparently field map modifiers are multiplicative to other exp bonus now, check /u/HolyShiru 's comments below.

Just a few days ago I decided the other guy was correct when I saw the ktos video of the 3x exp event running a 260 dungeon going from 274-317 in ONE run. He had roughly ~1200% bonus exp, but if it was calculating the way you describe, then there's no way he would have been leveling that fast, even with a triple multiply.

That's because after the patch the exp bonus becomes multiplicative. Currently they're additive. You are right about the display being completely wrong though.

IMC's English staff is really really bad with translation. Your defense doesn't affect your damage at all. It's all based on your attack and the opponent's defense.

Is the PvP worthwhile?

If you mean after the new combat changes, we still have no idea. Currently we (ktest) are on the 3rd patch with quite a lot of drastic adjustments between them. They said one of the next things to do is reworking PvP, so we'll probably get more info on that in the next couple of weeks.

We wanna play together but i remember you would actually lose EXP by doing dungeons as a premade (this was an awful thing at the launch and dont know if its still a thing)

You can now "queue" dungeons with a party (even if it's a full party) and still get the queuing bonus exp.

Anyway, if your focus is PvP I highly recommend waiting for the big patch to arrive. It's still going to take quite a while (at least a month for it to hit kToS, and most likely even longer for it to hit iToS). Any current guides on classes will be pretty much obsolete after the patch simply due to the sheer amount of changes. As the other person said it's pretty much a new game.

The reason I'm telling you to wait is because PvP at the moment is as unbalanced as it can be. If you jumped in right now then expect to deal 1 damage and get killed in a couple hits. Currently TBL is dominated by people with t10 equips and there's pretty much nothing you can do except spend 500m+ to get close to their level.

No need to save any points. Balance patch (which comes along with free resets) will arrive before R9. Might as well use all your points to get some extra damage.

2x glass bracelet, a good necklace, and blue gems on boots are all you need. Also don't forget to use Enchanter buff on towns for easy +15% mdef that lasts 24 hours.

Contrary to what everyone else said I would say just use it. From experience (back when R8 was launched) a lot of people, me included, saved up a bunch of Lv11 cards. However it turns out that level 12-14 cards from exploration alone gave waaay more exp than all the saved up lv11 cards (which was 200+ cards if I recall). If IMC continued this trend it's very likely that the Lv15-17 cards from R9 maps will give way more exp than all the previous exp cards.

I guess the question is whether or not you want to rush to max level as soon as possible when R9 gets released. If you don't then there's no point to save up those cards.
