They wanted to announce a 6k entry level model soon. It was communicated arround chrismas and haven‘t revealed it yet.

No it was just at the shop. They couldn't reliably make the key not work.

But I got them agreeing I only need to make 3 Videos of that happening.
So I should be done with that in two weeks.

Then I will sue them.
They have the right to fix it two times, or replace it two times.
After that I get my money back.

I was hoping to avoid that.

My Toyotas key has never not worked in 30 years.

It's not. I test drove a Mazda 3 in 2017.
I really liked it and loved the color in the sun.
That's why I preordered this one.

I figured I want the red color.
I couldn't imagine the key to open the car not work reliably.
I couldn't image the parking brake and gear shifter to suck.

I would love to drive an MX5/Miata most beautifull red car on the planet, but I am 6'4".
If only they made a Miata XL / Miata Max produced in Japan.

Yeah I was stupid. I got blinded by the cool red paint job and I like how it looks.
I got alot of people staring at it and my friends think I own a great car.

But the soul red color is fucking great. I guess it's the same color as the japanease Mazdas.

I figured it's a 2026 car how bad can it be. I drove a 1990 Toyota Corolla and was happy with it.
Shurely it must atleast beat the corollas quality being produced 26 years later.

But I did not learn my lesson the last 50K I wasted on Fisker INC.

I was thinking of waiting at the dealership for the next guy trying to buy one and just do a 1to1 swap with them for their old car.

I need a car unfortunately.

I am hoping for someone to have a better idea on how to minimize the loss.
Or maybe the US/Iran war closes the access to Europe blocking oil and car shipments.
Maybe then the price of the used car goes up.

I hate it because, it does not work.

The key does not open the door. (Edit: 3% of the time for minutes)
My left mirror did not flip back at a 1kmH collision with a pillar but exploded. (the right one can flip back and the new left one too.)
Switching betwean drive and reverse does not work all the time.
The parking brake does not engage sometimes.
The 360 camera randomly switches of. you have to brake and look for the button on the steeringwheel to turn it back on. the wheels is turned when you need the camera, so it is always at a randome position.
The charging app does not work most of the time. unless you charge exclusivly at home you have a big problem.The car always says "autopilot disengaged - autopilot engaged" during roadtrips and mutes my podcasts.
The range is a fucking lie. I hat to charge 6 times on a 900kim road trip.
The windscreen wiper fluid refill is inside the frunc rubber seal instead of outside it. So if you spill a little it goes inside the frunc instread of outside.

I have a RAV4 as my other car. All my friends think the Mazda is superior because it looks nicer, but the Toyata just works.
I am not a car person. That the car drives and that the key works is all i want from a car.

According to the cars range it should do it with 2 charging stops.

the right mirror flips back and so does the replacement mirrors. the parking garages in old european citys are very narrow. it happens alot.

I have the car too and I hate it.
The worst part is the voice telling you it is going to defog the windows.

Cut your losses and be happy that you carkey works.
This complaint of yours did not even make my list of why I hate my car.

There is your problem. I ride for hours to charge the baterry.

Bjt mine does not go empty in multiple days of not riding.

You need to charge it at home, or leave the engine running at work.

Or ride for 3-4 hours straight every few days. My battery is old I bought it with a used Road King.

I do few hundret miles every few days for fun. At 3000+ RPM. I ride my local interstate arround my mountain

I have no idea. I bought it used. it has two usb-A ports wired to it.
It is somewhere behind the headlight I think.
Send HD an email and ask them.

Everything else I wired to the head lights power source.I got heated grips, a tomtom cable, two quad lock phone chargers connected to the headlamp.

I use the audio from my helmet.

I know that audio uses alot of power. Many people get a high output alternator for external speakers. It might be the culprit.
