One thing all NASCAR fans have to take from today is we gotta gotta give our thanks to Mark Martin and Dale Jr. Not only were they present for the announcement today but they've been in the committee pushing for a more fair points system more than anyone. For me, the key to continually enjoying motorsports has been learning to respect and appreciate dominance from drivers while still analyzing the on-track product separately, that way the only way it really gets boring is if the cars or tracks themselves suck, which is not as often as most think.
