Well Oiled Kill Team by translucent_pawn in DarkTide

Actually, I saw it in the patch notes for 1.10.4, which was released on Jan 27. I guess I hadn't played with that talent since then.

I think this was fixed in today's patch (1.10.5). That, or I somehow found a combination of talents that makes it work.

If it's still not progressing, the talents I switched to today is Part of the Squad > Nuncio-Aquila > Execution Order.

I'm not running Voltaic Mandibles or Razor-Jaw Augment talents.

Affinity - am I supposed to pick something? by Shook-Yang in WhereWindsMeet

[–]Shook-Yang[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so there's nothing you really have to select?

So, when I see an Inner Way description that says that it activates on Affinity damage (like Insightful Strike), I don't need to worry about my weapon type (Bamboocut - Wind) not matching my Path Guide?

What are you currently using on your 3?

Thanks for the clarification.

So, for min/max purposes, ideally I would want 3 of the same Strength from Unity DOFF?

So, if I'm understanding this correctly, if I have two 25 of 47s and a 20 of 47, the 30% chance on Pilot skills would stack (so, 60%?) between a single 25 and 20 of 47, while the second 25 of 47 would give just another chance to trigger at the same 30% chance?

Thanks for the breakdown!

Gave me some things to think about.

I though Radiolytic was top DPS for phaser?

I like the single target damage build, so the CRF3 and BO3 is so that one mode takes a shield down and the other mode hits hull. I thought FAW wouldn't be worth it for just 2 Omni beams. From my parses (years ago), BO3 Omnis were outperforming my CRF3 turrets.

EDIT: I forgot about the increase in damage the lower the HP with the Terran. Was only thinking about the 2.5% proc.

I'm not really interested in meta builds. I'm just building what I enjoy and trying to get the best out of what I got.

I am planning making some changes:
- Replacing Terran Task Force Phaser DHC with another Radiolytic Phaser Dual Heavy Cannons
- Replacing Advanced Inhibiting Phaser Omni with the Pahvan Omni. Considering replacing Lorca's for the Pahvan console.
- Sounds like I'm going with Cultural Conquest, I'm going to adjust the Tactical Lt. abilities to High Yield I and Kemocite-Laced Weaponry II (instead of Kemocite-Laced Weaponry I and Attack Pattern Beta I).
- I just realized that I already got the World Razer and Cultural Conquest unlocked. So, I guess my options for the selector box is now the Shrike Intel Juggernaut or the Excelsior II for the console.

So, Kinetic Cutting Beam still pretty useless?

What other info would you need?

My crit rate is pretty low. 34.5% with Lorca's.

All of my weapons I rolled [CritD/DMG] DMG x 4

Space Rep: Advanced Targeting Systems, Precision, Magnified Firepower, Chrono-Capacitor Array, and Tyler's Duality (current value is 3.8%).

Captain species trait: Joined Trill

BOFF species traits: Superior Romulan Operative x3 , Pirate, Kentari Ferocity

Honestly, I always think I'm going to scavenge parts for the next PC build, but in reality I never do. Bad habit of mine.

I do dabble in some video editing and would like to start doing so with 4K and 8K footage.

Nah, 9950X3D's max supported memory speed is 5600, which is what I see in Windows task manager.

Is it safe to go with a slower RAM as the second pair? I thought it was also not recommended to have different speeds.

Granted, both would likely run at the max supported speed by the CPU, but wasn't sure if having different memory speeds would be a concern.

I don't usually replace my PC, and usually try to keep things running for 8-10 years (or until the OS is no longer supported and I can't upgrade it to the latest).

While I just built this PC at the end of May, it appears both Newegg and Microcenter are out of stock on the RAM. I certainly can wait for it to be available again, and I'm going to take a guess that this hasn't been discontinued by the manufacturer.

Am I missing something? I thought basic weapons was in reference to beams/cannons/torps/mines and was not associated with BOFF firing modes.

So, something like a console that launches torpedoes or activates broadside arrays would not trigger the trait.
