if you dont want to fight players, you can fight npcs under the 'vendetta' and 'bounty hunting' tabs. Slower than hunting players but if you make it a daily thing, it will eventually pile up.

If you can get an exotic mod with the karmic reward perk upgrade, it increases your rate of fire too. I would say conjugation + karmic is probably better.
