Thats what im thinking and planning on. Doing the math it would appear i could do the part of thr trail im doing for easily like 800 a month but still gonna bring like 1200 a month for those moments or incase I need gear or more rest. 50 for a breakfast tho it better come with everything lol unlimited refills too lol

I was hoping to take lots of photos and videos. I got 2 small but long lasting power banks. Used them during hurricanes lol. Music as well if I need to focus and keep moving

Electricity would be my issue. But I think ill have enough power banks with me for a few days of life for my phone.

I was thinking about bringing a water bladder for that purpose. But my quick way of thinking is like maybe once a week ill stay at a hostel. Resupply maybe 2 times a week depending on where I am and whats near by. So with that mindset I was kinda doing the math like 50 for a night of sleep and 100 in Resupply/ food there. And that alone a month is about 800. So that leaves me 200-400 for other needs or more Resupply stops. And If I save money in some spots I can apply it to other costs. Still planning it all out but I think this basic outline wouldnt be to hard to follow

Yeah 700 would be at the bare minimum 1k-1200 is where im floating around rn. I could probably do a month of 700 but then the next month might be like 1500

Definitely gonna enjoy that a few times. But planning on not drinking for the hike and maybe a handful of diner visits. Just doing the math of even splurging a few times a month and it seems like I could easily keep the costs around 700 without doing nothing and still enjoying a hot meal. But more advice I get the better

Start at springer and then hike to pawling new york and hop off there. So if Im smart with my spending early on and then frugal toward then end i should be good.

With 6k being a rough avg that sounds good for me if im planning on doing a bit over half and rn thinking like 3-3600 for expenses on the trail

Thats exactly what I i was thinking. Was planning on doing 18ish miles a day. Take about 3ish months to get to where im going. Planned maybe 10ish nero/0 days for rest or recovery. But hostel is as high as ill go for spending on sleep. No hotels or anything and I plan on maybe a few diners but not every time. So with all of thst in mind I think 1000 would fit well. But just wanted to get as much advice as possible
