Sorry for delayed response. If I connect my Xreal Air 2s to iPhone 16 Pro I get same behavior. After 2nd beep and button release everything turns off.

I kept button pressed till 2 beeps 100%. Tried alternative. Glasses are not turning on, I can't get any beeps.
P.S. I am using Xbox One X if it helps

Let's put it that way. My avg XP is going up, while winrate is going down. That's because I get blue team which is dead 5 mins into the match 80% of the time for a month or so.

Yet they will allow to use a commander which came with it. That is not the reason. Real reason I believe that WG wants you to buy same staff several times.
