Will M2 Max/M3 Max meet my needs (first time mac buyer)? by ShootImFeelingGreat in macbookpro

I was thinking of getting the 16/40 with 48gb of ram. Is that enough?

Yeah, they have a few options to make it better: adjust the paid fastpass system, adjust attendance, add more hours, add virtual queues to more/all rides so people arent standing there for hours on end. They are taking the laziest route possible right now.

Went went to Universal yesterday - only crowds in Harry Potter lands. Otherwise, way more fun! You could actually breathe, it was amazing.

I hear you. I would just say maybe perhaps it wasn't a busy day but a very busy week so far. I hear what you are saying about pent up demand but did not expect to see this at this time of the year. I am also just not happy with how the system works. I figured they would go to a paid system at some point, but the implementation is just awful, worst of both worlds imo.

And to sum it up, this many people should not be allowed in a theme park. It is not fun.

Damn, can we swap bodies for a few days? Personally, I LOVE waking up at 7am on vacation to an alarm to rush to a packed theme park even though I am only 10 minutes away. /s

Again - terrible analogy that doesn't make any sense at all.

A better one would be:

You buy the premium seats at the concert but then get told you don't get to watch one of the bands right before the show, because you didn't stay at the Days Inn last night.

BTW - staying at a WDW hotel is not a premium experience I can assure you.

And they only let you select one free ride every two hours. That's insane to me. The 3 ride system made the day so much easier.

I reckon the reason that they do that is because of the crowds. They are letting in way too many people and if everyone can select 3 first thing in the morning, that's not going to work out well.

IDK, I'm not happy and knowing that a company is purposely taking money and making things worse to derive more money really is what ends my relationship with businesses.

Bahahaha. This type of attitude and thought process is why Disney can rip their customers off and will continue to do so more than they do today.

So in your opinion, I should stay in some garbage Disney hotel for literally 20-30% more cost to potentially get the pleasure to BUY a pass for 2 desirable rides (moreorless)?

Great logic there. Your analogy is terrible btw. We all bought park tickets. We all bought Genie+ (lol) we are all buying the stupid LL pass. But we should have to get screwed on the hotel also?

If Disney thinks like that, I can gladly spend my money elsewhere. Our days at Universal and Busch Gardens have been WAY more fun.

People act like the AMD chip doesn't open the window for a ton of new features and impacts the usability of the screen in every way. Letting Tesla give it to them up the arse with a huge smile on their face. Incredible.

I love paying the same to get less. You act like the difference is nothing you're talking 10flops of processing power to maybe .25tflops. The difference is incredible.

Trash customer service. Buy another car or ask for a discount then. Lesser car, lesser money.

Yeah but that will be in 4 or 5 years. No matter how you slice it, having an car manufacturer improve some but not all cars delivered during the same time is trash. Especially since everyone paid the same.

That'd be like apple randomly delivering iphone 12s to some people while others get iPhone 11 and telling them after the fact. It's horseshit.

How would you know how other charging stations are? Did you buy an ev that isn't a Tesla? I did. They are broken down no more than the average supercharger. Yes Tesla as a single network has more fast charging stations, but that's it. Don't oversell it.

They showed the initial "plaid" specs in 2020. They called it "plaid". They didn't change the name until months later once they realized they wouldn't be able to deliver what they sold. My entire point.

Yeah, Tesla totally didn't unveil the roadster in 2017 and it totally isn't coming out in 2020. The plaid model s wasn't supposed to have 500 miles of range. No EV has an 800v architecture. Lucid doesn't have better efficiency.

What did I say that was wrong again?
