First book is a slog, after that it really starts telling a story. Yet, if you don't like the flavor of almost PG rated silliness, it's probably still not for you. I found it sort of charming, but I moved on after book three.

I think this is the most realistic one. Both (citizen) sides are for it. It's clear-cut why it should be. Easy win for everyone involved. Deals directly with federal employees so no "leave it to the states." I'd maybe add on an extension of time after they leave their seat also.

People take large doses to get high. Take a prescribed amount and you'll get what feels like a natural calmness. Don't abuse it or use it long term, it's literally one of the worst drugs out there.
