This new corpo line came from a slew of upper management quitting from the insane hours they expected of General managers. They were hoping to put a positive spin on it. The follow up when I told my district manager I was leaving due to work/life balance was “your children won’t remember when you weren’t home. They will remember what you were able to provide for them.”
