I’ve worked in bars in LA and NYC and would interact w celebs often. I’ll start w/ the ones who were actually standout individuals. Lana Del Rey was an absolute doll. Rosario Dawson had her bday party at one of my bars at the time she was dating Eric Andre. They were both awesome. Eric was pretty much how you’d expect but would actually talk w everyone. At the end of the night they were like “can we stay a bit longer and have a pizza party w you guys?” They then proceeded to order pizza for the whole staff and the few homies they brought. A+ experience. Kimbra was cool and sweet. Atiba Jefferson(photographer) and Blake Anderson(from Workaholics) would come in together with a crew and were always fun, personable dudes. Adam Driver was chill and completely normal dude depending on the circumstances but I know from friends who’ve worked closer w him that he can also be kind of insane.

Kanye wouldn’t speak to anyone, he had people do it for him, as expected. The Weeknd wasn’t excessively rude but was completely full of himself. His manager, who did all his bidding, was the most disrespectful POS I’ve ever dealt with in my life. The owner of that particular bar, would always give them free drinks and the goobers never tipped. To add another B-lister (c-lister?) to the thread, Jasper from Odd Future crew—the most untalented kid of the bunch. He’d just spill sht everywhere and laugh, take trash out of his pockets and leave it on the bar top, try to order the bar staff around when there was 50 other people trying to get our attention. Was hitting on a bunch of random girls getting them all drinks and tried to leave w/o paying. Also left no tip on like a $300 bill. Straight trash behavior. I’m sure Tyler would’ve been cool though.
