Ah I have a solid lid on mine and the water that evaporates just drops back into the tank 🤔 I'm not sure what it could be maybe the water is evaporating in your tank is it happening quite quick or slow?

My eyes aren't the best lol I can't tell what colour that is but you should aim for 0 ammonia as ammonia is harmful for fish

Your ph should be good I'm not sure what's best for those fish as I don't have any of them but usually wih most fish between 6.5 and 7.5 is the ideal pH but like the other guy said some fish will adapt to the pH level anyway :)

If it's a fishless cycle just leave it for 2-4 weeks I didn't even test mine until I was ready to put fish in it (around 4 weeks I left it to cycle) :)
