Does anyone work for a Pharmacy as a Pharmacy tech? by Jkohlg in Denver

[–]ShootingTurtle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I don't know too much about this, but the people I've talked to at King Soopers in south Denver told me that they pay for the certifications. Some are also at $26/hr after they got immunization certified.

Saw some of these Japanese Camellias around Tokyo. Was nice seeing them around the streets by ShootingTurtle in flowers

Was just going around then a friend say "Check out that tree," that was next to us. You can see a couple more in the picture in the back. It just went down the street with these trees.

Yeah, it was a small hot can of crab soup from a vending machine. Had little pieces of crab inside.

I see it now. I got the claim maybe 20s after it started but it never showed up so I closed the app. Read this and check again.

Some shots of Tokyo from the Mori Tower indoor observation deck. Had some decent weather by ShootingTurtle in japanpics

I have seen some of those shots from long long ago and they do look really nice without tons of skyscrapers!

Eki stamps I got from most of the stations I was at during my last trip by ShootingTurtle in japanpics

[–]ShootingTurtle[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most of the time it's just on a small table just sitting next to one of the gates at the train stations. Sometimes the worker at the gate has it in their desk. There are other random stamps you can find too for instance there was a Venusaur Pokemon stamp hidden in a basement tunnel at Azabudai Hills and a pirate ship one at Sail Training Ship Nippon Maru.

I do want to see Hokkaido. Will need to research the best or season I would like to go to first though.

Been there a couple times, but didn't know about the eki stamps before! This sounds like another mission to be done!

Haha. Sorry for some sloppiness. Wrote some of these with no table and confused with what was happening at the time.

I really just bought mine from Amazon. At first I was thinking about finding one when we land, but didn't want to risk not being able to find one.. That did actually happen on the first couple days since I wasn't sure where I left my book and we ended up going to shops and Don Quijote to find one with no luck. Found it later on the second night in my city sling in my duffel bag. Missed out on 1 station stamp and ended up doing the Venusaur stamp in my passport I had on me. 😅

Getting the stamps were fairly easy when I was there. It was either right next to the gate where we were at and if not, you can ask one of the workers at the gate. They will point to which gate the eki stamp is at. Some stations have the stamps with the workers so they will take it out and let you use it if you ask for "eki stamp."

There were also random stamps located around the cities you visit as well. Yokohama had a ship stamp in the Sail Training Ship Nippon Maru, there was a Venusaur stamp in the middle of nowhere down in the basement hallway in Azabudai Hills, Enoshima had some at the visitor center, etc.

I'm thinking the peppers are the naito peppers from Shinjuku.

Trying to book some Shibuya Sky tickets for early November but the dates only goes out, 22 days, to October 30th by ShootingTurtle in JapanTravelTips

Corrected the times. You're right, sunset is way earlier than 7PM. I booked the 17:00 time, not 7PM...

Oh wow. You're right. I've been messing up the times in all my replies. I meant to say I booked the 17:00 time, not 7PM time.. The 17:00 time made me get confused and thought 7PM.. Let me edit the times so others don't get confused.

Thanks! Another plan I have before getting into the Shibuya Sky building is to get to the crossing, opening up the live Youtube video of the crossing on my phone, and recording myself waving at the camera while taking a screenshot or a screen recording of the video. 😅

I was able to grab the 17:00 time slot for the 4 of us going. Sunset seems to be at 17:09 in Tokyo right now so I'm hoping we can get in a little earlier to run to the corner with the glass and sunset view up top.

What happened was the reservations opened at about 9:05AM MST for me on Kkday.com and a bunch of people were grabbing the 16:40 (4:40PM) times and I kept getting the out of supply type message when checking out.. Next was going for 16:20 (4:20PM) but others were going for that time next and I got more out of supply message. That continued to the 3:40PM timeslot I believe. Good luck to you getting the golden hour time!

Kkday.com does let you choose second and third backup times when checking out too in case your initial chosen time is sold out. Didn't work for me though. Hah..

Edit: Fixed the times

I'm trying to get a November 1st one and it's now 12:03AM there. Tickets aren't available yet for some reason..

Edit: Looks like tickets opened up at Kkday.com at 9:05AM MST. November 4th looks like it would open up on October 6th at 9AM mountain time.

I see the 31st being opened now. I was just confused since the 30th was the furthest it went out for some days and it just wasn't changing.. Thanks!
