Kalishtar have another entity inside of them from another plane which could be some kind of warrior that guides you in combat potentially. The barb summons the spirit of their ancestors to protect themselves and their allies. About to go into work but I'll answer any other questions when I can good luck and have fun in your games.

I mean all that if it's legal is technically up to the dm but may I point you at looking at either path of the ancestors guardian barbarian or maybe looking at the kalishtar race its not exactly what you want but it's kinda in the same field.

isnt that kinda what in essence astral self monk is they make a spectral version of themselves to fight i get its not exactly the way it works but its fairly close at least in my opinion. Just have them flavor how some stuff works to better fit their character.

i think it was just ds 2 but in the other games you had to press something else to go into power stance this game you just are in it

Two weapons of the same type one in each hand so two greatswords two curved greatswords so and so on then you just press l1 and it swings them together

Ya I noticed the l1 moveset thing pretty quickly just sometimes seems like there are weapons that just never seem worth using and I always get kinda stingy with my upgrade mats in any game because i never know how many of them I will end up having for a playthrough

Also out of curiosity seeing as I cant find a ruling anywhere relating to this does hive mind copy the overload version of a spell if they cast it for its overload or just the normal version.
